Totteridge Lions U14's crowned "Champions"

Congratulations to the u14 Lions who were officially Harrow Youth League CHAMPIONS after Sunday's 8-4 win against Wealdstone.

The 14s have had an incredible season....the stats so far, with a game to play, speak for themselves:
Played 15 : W15 : L0 : D0 : F94 : A21 : P45

No other u14s team in the Harrow Youth League has a record anywhere near this. A big congratulation to Coach Jay from the u14s and all the players and parents who have made this a special season. Coach Jay, who is still coaching at Norwich City FC, has turned this side around. Two years ago the team couldn't win a game. Last year he made them a top 6 team. This season he's transformed them into Champions.

Totteridge Lions v West Ham United 2014

For anyone following our website sports teams you will know that the Totteridge Lions are a footballing force in the TFA. The real challenge of the season came in February 2014 when they was invited to the West Ham academy in Chadwell Heath where they played two West Ham Utd youth teams. The Lions were narrowly beaten in both games but five of the squad have been invited back to train at the Hammers academy!

West Drayton Explorers Summer Tournament

On Sunday 7th July the Totteridge Lions U6's took part in the prestigious West Drayton Explorers Summer Tournament. The competition is played on much larger pitches which would take some getting used to. However big tournaments attract the big clubs and with Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Fulham and Brentford all sending in their scouts to watch our young stars, the pressure to turn on the style was on. Coach Ray Casey said the mood in the dressing room was upbeat from the start as the boys looked to defend their unbeaten record and add another trophy to the cabinet.

On the day various boys were approached by Spurs, Arsenal, Fulham and Brentford as the Lions once again looked impressive.

The Lions would have to take on four teams in todays tournament and after missing several good chances in the first match the game ended 1-1. After the gaffa's team talk, the boys took no prisoners in the next three matches as they romped home 5-0, 3-0 and 4-0 leaving the scouts eager to pounce for signatures.

Well done to all the boys and thanks to Ray Casey for supplying this video of the lads and their amazing achievement.

Parkfield Youth Summer Tournament

On Sunday 9th May, our U6's Soccer Stars took part in the highly competitive Parkfield Youth Summer FC Tournament. Totteridge Lions found themselves in an extremely tough group and would need to be alert, focused and on form if they was to progress to the final. The boys all train hard and today, despite their young age the maturity of the squad stood out from the crowd as our young lions roared to success in devasting style.

The boys played 4 won 4 and scored an amazing 25 goals and conceeded 0!

Four of the six lads that played on Sunday are now training with Spurs, 1 with Arsenal and 5 are also training with Chelsea.
