The Celtic Contractors team have once again chosen to support the Stripey Stork Charity. So we decided to give them their own TV Advert.

They collect donations of baby equipment, clothes, toys and other baby essentials and check that they meet current UK safety standards.Stripey Stork prides itself on passing on items in great condition. We want the families who receive items from Stripey Stork to feel they are receiving a gift and not a handout.

Our third project office at Canary Wharf took shape this month as we join Paragon and architects Carmody Groarke at 25 Cabot Square.

We are going to be installing the core partitions with over 25 various designs to accept stone finishes. Our team will also be installing some specialist ceilings and Kingspan components to the external areas.

Asos.com is a British online fashion and beauty store. Primarily aimed at young adults, Asos sells over 850 brands as well as its own range of clothing and accessories.

Celtic Project Manager Elidon Pepaj has decided to give himself a fashion overhaul as he oversees our project in Watford. Eli and his team have already won Contractor of the Month twice in 2017 as we look to install a number or drywall partitions and Knauf ceilings.

Working alongside Isg Group, we will be aiming to deliver this high end specification design to Thomson Reuters, allowing them to work in their new look and eye catching premises designed by architects Scott Brownrigg.

Celtic Senior Project Manager Graham Shadbolt has recently set up his project office at Bracken House where he will oversee the drywall and ceiling installation.

With over 26 various drywall types and some trapezoidal ceilings, Graham and his site team will have some interesting challenges to overcome.

Bracken House will become the new home of the Financial Times.

Celtic's familiar presence is back at Canary Wharf as we begin installing a drywall package at South Colonnade for Overbury.

Project Manager Dariusz Gutowski is overseeing the installation of this huge project which has a value of 4 million.

We are installing a variety of acoustic and fire rated drywall in excess of 40m with a height of 4.6m.

Its been an exciting journey for Celtic as we continue to push on with our washroom fit out at Fenchurch Avenue.

Project Manager Ray Stripe is pleased to see the many intricate interface details come together. We have shadowgap details at just about every junction and a whole under vanity wall formed of various back painted glass panels including pre-cut drainage and removable access sections. The zero tolerance design has kept Ray and his site based CAD Designer Steve Leonard on their toes as the cubical cores take shape.

Celtic are pleased to hand over another successful project at St James's Market, the new home to Formula One

Working alongside Construction Manager Comogroup and the hlw Architectural Team, Celtic were responsible for the ceilings and drywall installation. Celtic Project Managers Remi and Darius claimed it was an amazing project to be part of, especially the F1 decorations and memorabilla that added the finishing touches to the build.

Working alongside Sir Robert McAlpine and Eric Parry Architects, Celtic are once again showcasing our ability to install bespoke features

Project Manager Ray Stripe and his skilled site team have already set out most of the typical floors. We are working on Levels 1 to 12 to install the heavily detailed WC Cores which include bespoke cubicals, accessible IPS panels and a host of back painted glass. Complimenting the design are corian worktops and corian rebated push plates for the doors.

Connor Leonard who was recently selected to compete in the U18 Bremen Masters International for England stayed in Germany for a further 3 nights to train with some of the best nations in the world at the sport.

Shell Tower Refresh is the next port of call for Celtic. After already installing the external hoarding, Project Manager Tony Hepwoth will now turn his attention to the drywall partitioning package.

There are a variety of acoustic and fire rated partitions to be built and other walls of various heights, some slab to slab others to ceiling level only.

Architects Broadway Malyan are behind the design features which include the infil of the atrium using specialist joists and a ground floor cycle rack area.

Our works at Cannon Bridge House are almost at an end. We have been working alongside Lendlease as we installed the suspended ceilings and feature bulkheads across the main floor foot prints. We have also installed the complete WC Package, including the Basement showers.

Linas Zabita managed the main ceiling installation with stunning results while Ray Stripe worked tirelessly to get the WC fit out over the line to his usual high standard.

Angel Court, is a new 300,000 sq ft office building located in the heart of the City, less than a minutes’ walk from the Bank of England with office floors available to let from from 8,700 sq ft to 27,000 sq ft. Restauranteurs Coya, Natural Kitchen and Notes will be moving in when the construction completes in February 2017.

Well done to our judo star Josh who recently won his fourth ranking event this year.

He secured the Gold medal in some style as he racked up another four wins via ippon to extend his lead in the National Ranking System.

Josh is unbeated in the Uk since July 2016 and enjoying the best form of his career to date! Josh heads to Scotland and Northern Ireland soon.

Congratulations to Connor who performed well in the recent North West Area Ranking event held in Blackburn.

Some fine early round performances saw him reach the final of this highly competitive tournament before he was finally defeated by his England team mate from Devon.

Connor has also been selected by England to compete at the Cadet European Championships in Germany next month. Good Luck!

We are pleased to annouce our arrival at the new HMRC project with Construction Managers Como and architects AECOM.

We will be installing SAS System 330, SAS System 150 and SAS Anti Bacterial Ceiling Systems. Also the SAS 800 Trucell which is a decorative open cell ceiling system. The design also included the installation of Ceiling Baffles to deal with acoustic absorption.

Congratulations to Josh who recently won a Gold medal at the Midland Area Ranking Event and another Gold a week later at the English Open Ranking Event held in Thetford.

Josh is currently ranked number 1 in the National Ippon League Ranking System with a 100% unbeaten record which goes back to August 2016. Older brother Connor still remains GBR #1 with a strong bronze and a silver in the u21yrs in the Midlands & bronze at the English Open.

Connor recently represented Great Britain in the Cadet European Cup held in Follonica, Italy. The event is not one attented by the British Judo Association as they favour the Fuengirola cup in Spain later in the month. Only 3 boys from GBR took part in Italy and each self funded this extremely tough event.

Connors U81kg category had 3 players from Russia in a group of 44 whom finished with Gold, Silver and Bronze. Russia do not compete in Spain so his preferred choice to test himself at this event was valuable. He also stayed for the Two Day International Training Camp which was also attended by teams from Russian, Hungary, Croatia and Maldova who are regarded as powerhouse nations in judo. Connor claimed to fight and train with these players constantly was an amazing if not tough experience for him!

Congratulations to Josh who took part in the Dutch National Championships held in Eindhoven earlier this month. Josh was the only player from his age group to enter and competed in a pool of over 50 players. The current National Champion smashed his way into the final where he was finally defeated.

The event is extremely competitive due to the medal winners being selected for the Dutch National Squad.

Celtic are close to the finishing line at CannonBridgeHouse with both our ceiling install and W.C. fit out packages. We also took on the reception area floor tiling layout which required tricky details across a multi level floor which included bespoke cut tiles of various sizes with light fitting appertures and floor box positions.

The basement showers are also looking very impresive with a sharp and clean design.

It was another fantastic day of judo at the 2016 Pre-Cadet and Cadet British Championships at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield on Sunday 4 December.

In the Cadets Connor reached the final for the second year running which itself is a massive achievement to secure Silver while in the Pre Cadets Josh smashed his way to Gold without dropping a single point in the competition. The boys end an extremely tough year on a high! Well Done :)

Well done to Connor who recently won the Silver medal at the Welsh Ranking Event held in Newport. Despite losing the final on a single penalty point Connor remained top of the British Judo Associations National Ranking League and for the second year running will be top seed for the British Nationals in December.

An extremely tough group with many top players from the weight group below coming up should prove a stern test for 2017. Well done Connor :)

Congratulations to Connor and Josh who both recently won medals in the Alkmaars International in Holland.

A Dutch National Ranking event saw each boy fight up a year with Connor losing in the final to the Swedish Number 1 in a pool of 20.

Josh secured a Bronze medal from a pool of 30 which included top players from Norway, France and Germany.

Celtic are pleased to announce we are working with Sir Robert McAlpine with Eric Parry Architects on the WC Installation at 10 Fenchurch Avenue.

The cubicals are bespoke with high gloss laminate IPS panels with pippy oak timber veneered doors. Bespoke stone worktops and translucent corian bespoke light fittings will make this another eye catching design.

Congratulations to both Judo brothers who are now ranked number 1 in Great Britian. They were both invited with their head coach from Tonbrigde Judo Club Chris Bowles to assist with an Olympic Masterclass training session at Worthing Judo Club.

The boys assisted Bowles during the evening working with children and adults of all ages and grades. The boys were offered free access to Worthing Judo Club whenever they wanted by head coach Chris Cooper!

Celtic are making superb progress on our ceilings and WC packages. Working with LendLease we have most of the main ceiling bulkheads installed and all the toilet pods designed and drywalls built.

We are now looking into the design of the Basement Showers. Project Manager Ray Stripe explained the project has had its challenges but we are looking good the minute!

Connor powered his way to Gold and earned enough points to win his Black Belt still at the age of 15.

Josh finally defeated the GBR number 1 who held an unbeaten record for 18 months. Josh still a year younger than all his opponents!

Connor competed against the best players in the country in the U18 years of age group. Despite some strong performances Connor lost on points to Wales and fought his way back to secure the Bronze medal!

Celtic Project Manager Martin Strip recently returned home after competing in the Nuclear Mud War race where he and his family were raising money for charity!

The guys were raising money for Cancer Research and Parkinsons and set themselves a target of £1000. The guys went through hell in Army barrack style but together managed to raise a staggering £1,955.00. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported their cause!

The Mary Rose is the only 16th century warship on display anywhere in the world. The purpose-built award-winning museum reunites her with many of her artefacts and crew, capturing the moment in time when she sank over 470 years ago.

Celtic have the honour of working at the museum in Portsmouth where we are installing various partitioning to help allow the public learn her dramatic story in full inside the purpose-built museum.

We have been based on the Ruskin Square project in Croydon, Surrey for a few months now and have made great progress on the ceilings and drywall packages.

The CAT-A fit out has been straight forward and allowed the project to run at a fast pace. Working closely with LendLease and architects shedkm this project really will be one of Londons most spectacular developments.

Team South competed against England teams from the North, East and West including the London Area and Judo Scotland. Josh fought in the Pre-Cadet U14yrs team and won Bronze while Connors u18s were in fine form as they secured Gold!

Celtic are pleased to report our judo boys returned home from a 4 day international training camp held in Copenhagen.

Chatsmore Catholic High School gave the boys extened authorised leave as they trained with the Danish National Team. The boys judo club, Tonbridge took a squad of ten players out for the camp and all learned from the experience. Connor was fortunate to train with the current Danish 90kg European Champion while Josh was more than a match for their cadet players!

Angel Court, is a new 300,000 sq ft office building and 16,000 sq ft restaurant accommodation space set at the City centre, less than a minutes’ walk from the Bank of England.

The elements that make up Angel Court are the Garden Floors and the Sky Floors, roof gardens and terraces and a vibrant new public realm.

Congratulations to both Connor and Josh who performed extremely well and won Bronzes at the recent London International.

Josh fought in the Pre-cadet ranking category. He was unlucky to lose his opening contest by a penalty after a 6min contest. He went on to win his next 5 fights to secure the Bronze. Older brother Connor also secured a superb bronze where he also defeated the current British Champion. It was the first time they have met since Connors defeat at the Nationals last December.

We are also installing feature and standard field area ceilings across various floors within the building. Its another fast track deadline which will keep the Celtic team on their toes!

Connor recently represented Kent in the Southern Area Intercounties event held in Sussex. This year the current champions Sussex had to compete with Hampshire, Surrey and Kent who all were able to field their national level players due to the event not clashing with England squad training. There was no fairytale victory for Sussex this year as they finished last in the competition.

Kent boys took an impressive silver losing to Surrey while the Kent girls won Gold beating Surrey in the finals!

The Nuclear Race is set in Brentwood, Essex and is becoming more and more popular as a charity event where you test your ability to tackle a extreme muddy course. Congratulations to Josh who recently came Team Captain of the 11 to 13yr old boys at Tonbridge Judo Club. Josh and his team recently won Gold at the Kent Area Teams event held in Dartford.

Josh followed this with a Silver medal at the Northern Home Counties Open Championships in Essex. He was in fine form and only suffered defeat to the Great Britain Number one and friend Harry Zain Prosser.

Connor returned home the the Olympic Training Camp this week in high spirits. The Great Britain ace who was supported by Celtic had to work hard but learned more about what it takes to be the best.

Connor was pleased to become good friends with USA Olympians Kayla Harrison, Marti Malloy and Travis Stevens. Connor was fortunate to be taken out in the evenings by the USA ladies who battered him during the day and fed him at night!

Celtic are please to annouce that we have been assessed on our Broadgate project and improved our last results by 7 points. Our Last score received was 40 out of 50 - Excellent!

The CCS Scheme reported they were pleased to confirm that during the last 12 months our company had out performed the Scheme's Company Code of Considerate Practice by achieving a score of 7 points or above in each of the five sections! Well done to everyone involved!

Connor was also offered a unique opportunity to take part in a 14 day training camp in Wakefield, Massachusetts, USA at the Pedro’s Judo Training Center. Team USA's head coach Jimmy Pedro trains several current olympic atheles including 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist Kayla Harrison,  2012 Olympic Bronze Medalist Marti Malloy and Travis Stevens who placed 5th at the 2012 olympic Games.

Well done to our site based staff at JP Morgan in Bournemouth who scooped the Health & Safety award for March 2016. The award was presented by Richard Walsh of Como, he said,

Connor recently returned home from Londonderry with two medals at the Northern Ireland Open Championships. The current Great Britain number one was is in superb form after he secured an incredible bronze medal in the U21 years of age group fighting players 5 years his senior.

The following day Connor fought in his own U18 age band and secured the Gold medal in style which included two ippon wins in under 20 seconds.

On Saturday April 2nd, Ferring judo star Josh Leonard was crowned British Schools Champion 2016 competing the in the U55 kilogram category.

The event took place at the EIS Arena in Sheffield with the contestants having to qualify for the competition from their respective counties. The Chatsmore Catholic High School year 8 student competed in the year 8-9 academic band and was in the biggest group of the tournament with 27 entrants.

Andrie Ciumacenc was been awarded an M&S voucher for being the Safe Operative of the month for March on our Broadgate project.

He was presented the award by our own site manager Linas Zabita.

Connor was also asked to represent England in the Sportif International 6 Nations Team Championships.

England were defeated 5-1 by France where Connor lost against Axel Haulet in a much closer contest. England had to beat Scotland to reach the finals and despite Connor throwing rival Saez for ippon other results went against England and unfortunately the team lost 4-2. It was no suprise that France won the tournament as they defeated Scotland quite convincingly in the final.

Congratulations to our Judo boys Connor and Josh who both made the finals of the Scottish Nationals in March.Its a super tough event which this year hosted some of  the top cadets and junior players from France, Canada, Slovakia, Sweden, Australia, Spain and Denmark.

Connor was beaten in the Final by the French Number 1 while Josh was defeated by a very strong opponent from Slovakia.

Connor was in fine form at the recent Southern Area Ranking event held at K2 in Crawley. He breezed in to the finals by winning his three opening contests without dropping a point before a huge ippon throw against his England Squad colleague from Devon in just under 30 seconds secured him the Gold medal.

Younger brother Josh also secured a excellent Bronze fighting a year above his age in the Pre-Cadet category!

Congratulations to Connor who won a Silver medal at Blackburn in the North West Area Ranking Event at the end of February.

Connor competes in the U81kg category and the silver medal came with 75 National Ranking Points which keep him ranked number 1 in Great Britain.

Connor has trips to Scotland at the end of March followed by the Southern Area Ranking and Northern Ireland Ranking events in a few weeks!

Celtic are pleased to report our installation works at Lacon House are complete.

We worked closely with Architects Axis and Construction Manager Lend Lease to over come the many challenges that presented themselves during the design and installation of some tricky ceiling details. We also completed the full WC package aswell as designing and building the basement showers. A fantastic project with thanks to all our team who helped!

Congratulations to Connor who is now Ranked Number 1 in GBR after winning Gold in the Midlands Open Ranking Event. Connor also made his debut in the Senior Kyu Cup in Darftord and performed well to secure another Gold medal.

Younger brother Josh also won Gold in the Southern Area Britsh Schools Qualifiers in Gillingham followed by another Gold in the South of England U15 Open in Worthing. Congratulations to you both!

Not the best start of the year for the Celtic Football team. We recently took part in a friendly match against the Lend Lease Lacon House site team.

The pitch was not the usual snooker table surface our finely tuned ahletes are used to and with many of our first team regulars forgetting about the match we was always going to be up against it. Despite these disadvantages team captain Jon Whyte was upbeat at the after match interview simply saying "The best team lost!"

Congratulations to our judo player Connor who recently competed in the British National Championships in Sheffield. Connor had a fantastic day in the countries biggest competition as he won all his qualifying fights to book a place in the final. Unfortunately he was narrowly beaten by one of the older England Squad players. Connor retains his place on the National Squad.

Younger brother Josh also had a good day finishing 5th in his first Nationals and will return to the same age group next year for another go!

Project Manager Martin Stripe was pleased to report that our works on the Grade II listed Telephone House Building has been completed.

Design features included new and restoration to existing cornicing, Ecophon raft ceilings and pre finished floating timber rafts with fabric panels suspended independently with integrated lights creating a bespoke ceiling.

Martin said his installation team were once again on top form!

Congratulations to Josh who recently won Gold at the Ippon Trophy International Tournament held in Antwerp, Belgium.

The event attracted players from Spain, France, Germany, Holland and was flooded with players from the home nation.

Josh was just 1 of 400 entrants in the packed arena but wasted no time taking the gold which including a 9 second ippon which silenced some very vocal home supporters!

Congratuations to Connor who recently won a Silver medal at the Welsh National Open Championships in Cardiff. The 75 National Ranking points were enough to move Connor up to Number 1 in the ranking system.

He beat one of the top seeds from Ireland followed by a quick win over a London based player. An impressive win over the current U16yrs of age Filipino Champion put him in the final against his good friend and England squad member Alan England from Bristol.

The passge provides day services and accommodation for homeless people across three interconnected Victorian buildings. The buildings, which date from the 1800s, are centrally located within a short walk of Victoria station.

Entry fees and the sales of beverages and refreshments all went towards the Help The Heroes Charity.

A unique array of design features make this an installation to be proud of. Project Manager Jimmy Thercaj was kind enough to send us some low resolution images of the various features but jumped on a plane and forgot to sent the better quality images.

Only 5 days after travelling up to Bradford from Worthing, Connor had to make his way to Newcastle where he was required to perform at another National Ranking Event The Great North Open.

Another fine display in a very difficult group so Connor beat players from the home county aswell as Ireland before he was finally defeated. Another bronze medal came with another 50 National Ranking Points making him Sussex Counties highest ranked Cadet player.

Celtic are back with MACE to help deliver another high quality ceiling installation on the SKY B2 project.

Project Managers Graham Shadbolt and Scott Tunbridge are pushing this install at a very fast rate whilst making sure our installation team meet the high standards we expect. Two Kingdom Street has achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’, an EPC rating of ‘C’ and has employed a number of measures to reduce its carbon dioxide emissions by 10%.

Our congratulations to Connor who won a Silver medal at the Heart of England Open Championships held in Walsall at the weekend.

A strong performance in the group stages saw him finish top after defeating a England Squad player and a Latvian. He knocked out a player from Ireland in the semi-finals before suffering a narrow defeat to the Latvian Champion, Artjoms Jurkjans, who is also the British Wrestling Champion.

Our Lacon House W.C. fit out is starting to take shape. The colour scheme and design certainly have the 'Wow' factor!

The journey has to get this far has had its issues but Project Manager Ray Stripe has overcome them all so far.

We are due to start work on the Basement Shower area very soon and look forward to showcasing our install in the future.

Celtic are pleased to report that Taylor Tumbridge who attends Carshalton Boys Sports College has been with us for work experience.

Taylor has shown a great interest in his work and completed all tasks set by the team at Celtic H.Q. He has a great sense of humour and fitted in well with the office team. Taylor was sad to leave but said working with Paul Cooney was a whole 'new' experience in itself!

Project Manager Ray Stripe and his team are meeting the tough challenges head on as the WC design starts to take shape.

Congratulations to Josh who secured a hard earned bronze in the U15 age band at the Don Werner Memorial Trophy.

In his time of over 50 years at Pinewood Judo Club, Don produced many National and International Champions, including Olympic Silver medallist and World Champion Nicola Fairbrother and World bronze medallist Karen Roberts amongst many others.

Don sadly passed away peacefully in his sleep in 2014.

Our congratulations to judoka Connor Leonard who has been selected by England to take part in the 2015 Sainsbury's School Games held at Manchester in September.

England will compete against Scotland, Ireland and Wales for the title and with age band being U19 Years of Age, the number 6 ranked cadet can see this as a massive achievement.

The event is also streamed live on the internet!

Congratulations to our young judo player Connor who won the Gold medal at the British Judo Associations Kent International on Saturday 27th June.

He won all three of his fights in style including a 8 second ippon victory in the final. Younger brother Josh also performed well in the U16's where he narrowly missed out on a Bronze by a penalty point. Josh now heads to High Wycombe in 2 weeks time for the Don Werner Memorial Trophy while Connor prepares for the Western Area Ranking Open later in July.

Celtic are almost complete on our Churchill Place project at Canary Wharf. A tricky install with many interesting design features had its challenges which the site team were able to overcome.

The main features included a sloping auditorium and a feature zig zag bulkhead to create a unique lighting display. Some nice looking tea points and eye catching colours makes this a great project to look back on.

Congratulations to our judo player Connor who recently won Bronze at the Northern Home Counties Ranking Event in Harlow, Essex.

After knocking out one of the group favourites on his way to the semi finals, Connor suffered one defeat to the eventual gold medalist then beat his rival from Sussex in just 8 seconds to secure the Bronze. (fight is online)

The 2015 British Judo Associations London Open was held on Saturday 23rd May. Held at the SportsDock, University of East London, Docklands Campus. A ranking event which attracted players from Germany and Luxembourg including the top level players from all across the United Kingdom.

Josh powered past his opponents and beata player from Middlesbrough in the final. Connor suffered a defeat to the gold medalist from Poland to end his tournament.

Celtic have always been proud to support the boys and its our pleasure to donate Connor & Josh with new judo suits from Fighting Films to help them progress with their judo careers.

The International Judo Federation (IJF) have implemented new rules on the suits which effects Connor from immediate effect and Josh in December. They are not cheap, especially when they need four so it was nice for Celtic to help!

Congratulations to Connor who won Gold in the High Wycombe Open Championships.

He won the tournament in style and won two of his four fights in under 10 seconds. The young GBR Star went on to beat thecurrent Sussex County Squad Champion in the final without dropping a point in the whole event!

Celtic are pleased to announce our works on our 50 Victoria Embankment project with ISG is complete.

Site Manager Simon Haylor was pleased with the final results and thanked all his team that helped him pass the finish line. A 25m long feature lighting bulkhead was just one of the amazing bespoke design features on the project. We have some detailed photos on our project page.

On Sunday April 26th Connor headed off to Belfast to take part in the Northern Ireland Championships. This is a Ranking Point Scoring Event and attracts a host of top players who are all chasing places in the National Ranking System. Connor had a fine competition, throwing a Dan Grade (black belt) opponent for ippon on his way to the final.

Despite the defeat he earned 75 ranking points and moves into the top 10 players in the u81kg cadet category!

On Saturday April 25th Josh was the only player to represent his club at the highly competitive Metro & Crayford Tournament in Lewisham.

A host of the top London clubs sent in their best players making the event quite busy. Josh was once again in fine form as he brushed aside all his opponents to win gold.

He now prepares for the London International in May

Well done to Connor who travelled up to Edinburgh as a guest with the Tonbridge Judo Squad to take part in the Sportif Scottish International.

Despite suffering defeats to Sweden and to the eventual Gold Medalist and current #1 Seb Potter from Scotland, Connor performed extremely well to finish 5th. Connor now heads off to Belfast on Friday 23rd for the Northern Ireland Open - Good Luck Connor :)

Congratulations to our Celtic runners who finished the Hampton Court Half Marathon.Together with your donations Ray was able to raise over £2000 for Southend Soccability while Jon, Elena, Chris, Gabby and Paul raised over £8000 for Cancer Research UK to make it a superb achievement for everyone involved with the event. The Southern Area Open Championships were held at K2 Crawley on
Sunday 15th March and both Connor & Josh showed just how
dominant they are in their own county as they both strolled home
to win Gold. Josh won his Gold in style while fighting up two weight classes, winning the U50kg, U55kg & U60kg! Connor took his gold by beating the current Sussex County Squad player in just 6 seconds.

Celtic are making good progress on our Lacon House project. We are installing a working mock-up on Level 8 for the toilet package to help iron out any early design challenges and on Level 1 Ray and his installation team are already well underway with the installation of the feature ceiling designing the Marketing Suite.

We have added some new work in progress photos or the mock-up area and look forward to adding more in the future.

Our congratulations to our Judo Star from West Sussex Josh Leonard who was recently involved in the British Schools Judo Championships in Sheffield.

400 schools and 525 fighters were in action at the Ice Arena and Josh, who had to qualify to enter, performed superbly. He won 4 of of his 5 fights to secure the Bronze in an event where he was not only the youngest but also the lowest grade. Our congratulations to you Josh.

We are helping with the Installation of various ceilings systems, drywall partitions, timber door sets, skirting and plaster refurbishment.

The Passage runs London’s largest voluntary sector day centre for homeless and vulnerable people: each day we help up to 200 men and women.

Massive congratulations to our judo star Connor who recently took part in the North West Area Ranking event held at St. Helens, Merseyside.

After facing the number 2 and number 4 ranked players at the Midlands earlier this year, he was given a tough opener against the number 1 player today. A good performance and only narrowly missing out on Bronze was enough to finish 5th which gives Connor 25 Ranking Points. Its an incredible achievement seeing as he is still 2yrs younger than the top 10 players.His Winning fight in online!

Josh was back in action in the Northern Home Counties Open Championships held at High Wycombe.

Josh was in fine form as he beat opponents from Cirencester and Micklefield Judo Club. Josh has strong links with Micklefield's head coach Samantha Dobrowolski & her club who's traveling fans still congratulated Josh after he beat their player in the final.

Congratulations to Josh who took part in the Midlands Area Ranking event held at Wolverhampton Campus.

Josh was in fine form after a long day. After weighing in at 08:15 he didnt fight until 17:30 but despite dominating his opening fight his opponent was gifted a penalty in the last seconds which cost Josh the win. Congratulations to our Judo player Josh who attented the Northern Home Counties British Schools Judo Qualification event on Sat 24th Jan.The schools event is one of the most prestigious events on the calendar and its the only one where you need to qualify.

Representing Chatsmore Catholic High School in West Sussex, Josh secured 4 ippon wins to take the Gold and instant qualication for the main event held at the Sheffield ICE Arena in March.

Congratulations to Connor who was celebrating this week after securing his Pre-Cadet place to a full Cadet player on the Great Britain Judo Squad.

His achievement is much deserved after a successful year. His 13 Gold medals have made him a much talked about player. He has now made the most difficult transition from Pre-Cadet to Cadet where he finds himself against strong fighters from 14yrs to 17yrs. He recently performed well at the National Championships in Sheffield only narrowly losing both his fights but he made his opponents work for their victories. Well done Connor :)

From the moment Celtic started on site for this project it was clear this was going to be an eye catching design from Bennetts Architects.

Working closely with Sir Robert McAlpine the Celtic team were praised for out helpful style on how to over come the challenges this site would put in our way. Project Manager Ray Stripe with his site team were able to deliver a fine project which matched the high design features the package included.

Connor & Josh recently returned home from Belgium after attending a 3 Day International Training Camp in Lommel, Belgium. They would be training and fighting with some of Europes top level players and working with squads from all over Europe and as far away as Israel.

The boys who train at Brighton, East Grinstead and Tonbridge were invited to join the Tonbridge Squad which itself boasts players ranked #1 and #2 in the country. It was tough training for the boys who performed well on and off the mat. Thank you to Tonbridge Judo Club for organising the trip.

Sport, as we know can be cruel sometimes. In the Flanders International Judo Competition Connor found this out for himself after he narrowly missed out on a podium place for Great Britain!

He qualified from his group knocking out players from Belgium and Germany along the way only to be given the favourite from Holland in the Knock Out Stages. Despite scoring after 8 seconds and with standing his opponents best moves, it would be a mistake by the youngster that would cost him a place in the medals. With just 5 seconds left on the clock he slipped allowing his rival to steal the victory from his grasp. Despite fighting superbly Connor was eliminated from the event in unfortunate circumstances. Well done Connor, very unlucky.

Congratulations to Josh who recently became National Judo Champion after winning the British Judo Associations A-Band National Championships which were held at Kidderminster last month.

Josh secured the title after winning all 6 of his contests in the U46kg category. The Gold medal was his 13th of the year. If you have followed his progress then you will know Josh is a deserved champion :)

Celtic are pleased to announce our works at the Walkie Talkie building are complete. Our package was to install various types of slab to slab partitioning within this iconic building.

Working closely with Overbury and architects Aukett Swanke the Celtic team were always close by to provide solutions to all the challenges a project like this would give us. Another eye catching and colourful design which gives this building the respect it deserves.

Celtic would like to congratulate our judoka Connor Leonard who heads to Lommel, Belgium to compete in the Flanders Judo Cup on October 25th where he will be fighting for Great Britain at youth level.

He has also been invited to attend a three day International Squad Training camp where he will be working with national squad players from Russia, Romania, Germany, France, USA and Holland to name but a few .Another tough event for the young star who we wish the best of luck to!

With the finishing line in sight, Celtic are looking in great shape with our complete WC fit out package at 70 Mark Lane. Working closely with Sir Robert McAlpine and Bennetts Architects on this eye catching design, together we have resolved our fair share of problems that have stood before us all.

Ray Stripe and Dean Boezalt have been quick to praise our installation team who have shown unique skills with this tricky feature design and our latest photographs probably do not do this amazing project justice!

Well done to Josh who added another Gold medal to his collection. He was in great form in the Sussex Area Graded Open held in Worthing. A well supported event with many of the area's top clubs attending.

Josh has been in fine form of late! He trains twice a week at Tonbridge Judo Club in Kent, at his own club Keisen in East Grinstead followed by a tough session at Brighton.This has brought his skill level up tenfold and four more victories, two of which were in less than 10 seconds was his reward.

Celtic would like to congratulate our young judo star Josh who won another gold medal in the BJA Dartford Orange & Under tournament. This is his tenth gold in the BJA since returning from his nasty injury.

Josh was up against quality players from some of the strongest clubs in the south of England but today was all about the style and flair of the young attacking fighting machine. He secured two ippon wins in under 10 seconds. Well done Josh keep it going!

Massive congratulations to Connor who won himself a Silver medal at the British Judo Associations Heart Of England tournament.

The event attracted many of the countries Commonwealth Games medalists which helped create a fantastic atmosphere. Another fine performance by Connor saw him reach the final from a group of 15 where he was finally beaten by a player from Russia in the final. A contest which could of gone either way it was that close. Well done Connor!

Congratulations to our Judo boys who both secured a Gold medal at the British Judo Associations East of England Area Open Event.

Josh secured his Gold medal by winning all his fights in a total of 12 seconds as the impressive young star continues his comeback. Connor took his Gold in style winning his four contests by ippon including impressive wins over two fellow GBR squad players. Well done both of you.

Celtic were invited by Max Petrucci, Employment Skills Manager for MACE to attend a presentation at SKY Isleworth regarding an initiative scheme aimed at offering potential employment to local residents who have been long term unemployed. Richard Banks made an early impression. His positive attitude, willingness to learn and ask relevant questions, time keeping and ability to carry out his duties in accordance with the very high standard of Health & Safety impressed everyone. Celtic announced that an offer of employment would be made to Richard who duly accepted.

Celtic would like to congratulate our young judo player Josh who was back in action on Saturday 9th August. He took part in the Micklefield Judo Clubs age banded event held in Wycombe.

Josh was in a tough group with some very strong players but after some tough training sessions in East Grinstead & Brighton over the past few weeks the youngsters hard work was rewarded with a Gold medal, his 7th of the year!

Miller Insurance Services has taken a pre-let of 70 Mark Lane, London EC3,
which is due for completion in the Autumn of 2014. They will occupy 85,000 sq ft over the lower six floors of the £140m development.

Celtic are helping with drywall partitioning and column encasements to levels 1-6, with the sixth floor being a high end acoustic executive design.

The prestigious 14 storey office development is located near Fenchurch Street Station and designed by Bennetts Associates.

Works are well underway on this 26 week project which sees Celtic take on specialised ceilings from Kvadrat (Basel & Casa panels), Lindner (Honeycomb & Baffle ceilings) and Hunter Douglas (Luxalon). Apart from these challenging ceiling types, we are also installing a SAS System 330 suspended ceiling along with plasterboard ceiling finishes.
In the reception areas on Level 1 two columns made from GRG will also be installed by Celtic along with standard partition types.
This is a great project for Celtic as it allows us to demonstration our high quality to detail in both ceilings and partitioning.

Congratulations to Connor who recently won Gold in the British Judo Associations Western Area Open Championships.

He took the gold in style after winning all four of his fights by ippon. Connor has been lucky enough to train along side current Great Britain Number 3 James Draper who has been helping him each week in training. Connor also had the chance to be coached by James' father Tim Draper who was pleased with the performance but claimed the hard work starts now! Go Connor!

Celtic are pleased to update you with our progress from our 70 Mark Lane project. The view from the top of this building is as impressive as the many internal design features with it.

As we progress our way up the building to complete our WC installations, we are able our update our project gallery with some new photographs. The building is currently having an angled glass rooftop conservatory fitted and the views from here were very impressive.

Congratulations to Connor who took part in the 40th Anniversary International Judo Tournament held in Venray, Holland. Representing Great Britain for the first time was a real achievement for the youngster who performed exceptionally well which was rewarded with some fine feedback.

Sweden, Russia, Latvia, Greece, Holland and Belgium would dominate his group. A early defeat to the eventual Gold medal winner made for a thrilling second round battle. He went on to win his next few fights before losing on a penalty to Latvia in the Bronze. Well done Connor, so very close!

Celtic are please to report that we will be working on the new Sky Believe In Better building. Our project manager Graham Shadbolt will be looking after this project for us.

This newly built timber structure building will be the home of the SKY Academy which Celtic are delighted to be involved in. Our works involve buildings drywall partitions, lining perimeter walls and installing Ecophon Baffle & Sound Scoop Grilles.

Once again Celtic wish to congratulate our judo boys for their latest performance at the British Judo Associations Kent International 2014.

Josh won this event last year before breaking his arm. He bounced back to win this event again after 4 straight ippon victories. Connor also took bronze, despite losing his first fight to a older GBR squad player, he won his next three fights to secure a place on the podium. Well done boys.

Celtic have recently been appointmented to set up site at Portman Square. We are helping to install new ceilings on Level 3 for Quintain Estates.

Works include a feature Fantoni timber slat ceiling, and a Kvadrat fabric bomb access door feature ceilings with bespoke feature closure section details. We will also be installing plasterboard raft effect ceilings aswell as the SAS System 330 ceiling grid.

Celtic are pleased to report we have been asked to help out at Canada House and 2-4 Cockspur Street, Trafalgar Square, London.

Project Manager Steve Stroulger set up site and his team commenced work on this exciting late 19th century building in early June, where they will undertake an 18 week install of drywall partitions in the two buildings that make up the Canadian High Commission. These works include the specialist high security partitions.

An incredible year for our judo players. Celtic are please to report that Josh won his 5th Gold of the year in the Belgian Judo Grand Prix held in Marcinelle. Connor also continued his great form and despite losing his first fight he went on to win his next four to secure the bronze medal.

Worth a mention that Josh beat an opponent from the home club in the semi final before the clock had started. His opponent charged at him from the start and Josh threw him before the coach had chance to sit down! Superb!

Celtic Contractors have been on this site for several months and things are really taking shape. Working closely with architects Bennetts Associates and Sir Robert McAlpine the cubicals began to take shape.

The high level of design, including floating effect Domus sink worktops and bespoke features soon turned the pods into something very eye catching.

Congratulations to Celtic Judo player Josh who recently took part in the Metro & Crayford Open event near Lewisham.

Josh was assisted by his brother Connor and working together proved a huge success! Josh won all four of his fights to secure the Gold. Against some quality opponents from Moberly, Earnest Bevan and the home club, this really was a tough event for the West Sussex star!

The client’s ambition is to provide world-class, state-of-the art retail and office accommodation on these two prestigious central London sites and hopefully Celtic helped this ambition become a reality.

The dramatic, secure, light filled, double height entrance on Gracechurch Street provides direct access to a second reception at George Yard. George Yard, a discreet drop off area, is accessed off Lombard Street and offers a landscape courtyard with tranquil seating areas.

Celtic are pleased to announce our works on Level 18 on the 125 London Wall project are almost complete. A fantastic curved Kavadrat fabric panel ceiling with a constant 25mm shadowgap proved an eye catching design.

Celtic also installed a bespoke GRG Halo lighting ring over the circular staircase.

A tricky installation that went very well and certainly looks impressive!

More congratulations from Celtic to our young judo player Connor Leonard who won the Scottish Open in Edinburgh seven days after winning in London.

This is Connor's seventh Gold medal this year and his third international title. He qualified from the group stages winning his pool unbeaten. His fine form continued into the knock out stages as he secured a place in the final.

A controlling performance was rewarded with the Gold medal. Superb!

Josh secured his 3rd Gold of the year and was crowned the Southern Area Champion while Connor narrowly lost in the final against a quality opponent to finish the day off with the Silver. Well done to both boys!

Noticable features included a sloping timber ceiling on the ground floor restaurant.

Celtic recently returned to Kirsh Group to take on some extra works. Project Manager Jimmy Thercaj and his team spent a couple of months on site helping out with the installation.

Additional Partitioning being the main feature of the design with some linear lighting feature to the corridor to compliment the final updates.

Celtic are pleased to report that our works at Moorgate are finally coming to an end. Celtic Project Manager Scott Tumbridge played a vital role in steering this project in the right direction.

We installed SAS system 130 ceiling system. Plasterboard margins to the internal core and perimeters with a blind box incorporated. We also installed fire barriers within the ceiling void barrier.

Congratulations to our Judo Star Josh Leonard who secured a great Gold medal at the Northern Home Counties competition held at High Wycombe.

Josh was in a tough group and had to battle hard to secure his second Gold of the year. He has made a strong return to the competition circuit since breaking his arm in August 2013. Today Josh was was lucky to have his older brother Connor at mat side to coach him in his 5 fights. We have embedded a youtube link if you would like to see him in action!

Celtic would like to Congratulate the u14 Lions who were officially Harrow Youth League CHAMPIONS after Sunday's 8-4 win against Wealdstone.

Coach Jay, who is still coaching at Norwich City FC, has turned this side around. Two years ago the team couldn't win a game. Last year he made them a top 6 team. This season he's transformed them into Champions.

Working closely with Architects TPBennett and Contruction Managers Como we are delighted to report our works on Level 6 are complete.

The project had its challenges including some tricky high level design features. All specialist contracts worked closely to help deliver a fantastic and eye catching design to meet the architects incredible vision. Level 6 certainly has the WOW factor and we are proud to have been part of it.

Celtic are currently installing many design features on our Nabarro project but the real challenge is on Level 18.

A challenging curved ceiling which involves some incredible co-ordinated input from various trades has eventually started to take shape. Our CAD manager has had many sleepless nights over the radius which is to house bespoke floating Kavadrat Acoustic Ceiling panels with a curved perimeter bulkhead. Installation is going very well as we take a closer look.

Celtic Contractors are coming to the final stages of the build at the construction of block W4, which is part of The Crown Estate's £1 billion investment in Regent Street.

Celtic site manager Genc Gjeka with his hands on approach was able to over come many of the challenges the site conditions put in his way. Genc was happy to share some new progress photographs for the website as we near completion on this amazing project.

St Mungo's began helping people sleeping rough off the streets in 1969. Today, they are one of Britain's largest charities supporting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Celtic are pleased to confirm that one of our Site Managers, Bogdan Cosacenco and several of his team kindly gave up their time to lend a hand to help unload and move some much needed furniture for St Mungo's!

On the 8th February Connor travelled to Harlow, Essex to take part in the British Judo Associations Northern Home Counties Event. Another top level competition with the 4-Star ranking tag would provide the youngster with another challenge.

Another strong performance from the GBR player was enough to see him secure another Gold which was presented to him by Olympian Judoka Ashley McKenzie.

Congratulations to our Soccer team the TFA Totteridge Lions U7's who recently took on two youth teams from West Ham United. If anyone has followed them on our site or seen their YouTube footage will know they are very impressive and hard to beat.

Despite losing both games, The Lions squad done enough to impress the coaches of West Ham who invited 5 of the players to train with them at the academy based in Chadwell Heath.

Celtic Contractors have been working closely with architects Bennetts & Associates and construction manager Sir Robert McAlpine to produce a fully working replica of the WC install for 70 Mark Lane.

Some complex design features have been discussed and agreed with all parties concerned to allow a really high specification cubical to be constructed. Our CAD team & Managerial staff have been kept on their toes but the high praise feedback from the client made it all worth it.

Celtic are pleased to announce we are now on site at Canary Wharf with Overbury and Architects Pringle Brandon.

We are working on the Shell Oil Project Scarlett on Levels 3 and 5 as we prepare to help with both the ceiling installation and the drywall partitions.

Project Manager Tom Fortune will lead the design co-ordination as we work closely with the feature glazing installers who interface with our walls.

On Friday 3rd January Connor Leonard travelled to Meeuwen-Gruitrode in Belgium to take part in the country's International Judo Festival. An extremely popular event on the International circuit due to the 1000 Euro prize money awarded to the organisation with the highest medal tally.

Connor won all his fights by ippon with a dramatic victory in the final against Holland. He now has the Southern Area Open in January, with 3 more tough events in Feb at Wolverhampton, Essex & Liverpool! Good Luck!

Well into the new year and its business as usual for Celtic. Project Manager Ray Stripe is on course to complete another big fit out project.

Additional works have involved min drywalls and tea point areas aswell as pushing the toilet fit out on Levels 4 & 5 for completion. Most of the IPS panels are installed and with the new sinks and vanity units ready to be installed, this is looking like another quality installation.

A big well done to our Judo player Connor Leonard who won Gold at the BJA British Championships in Sheffield. An event he has worked all year to prepare for and he won it in style.Connor has also been selected for the BJA England Squad and will represent his country abroad in Venray Holland and Lommel Belgium as British National Champion. He will be presented with the official squad patch which he keeps for the rest of his life.

The current BJA Sussex County Champion heads to Belgium January 4th with the Sussex Squad to fight against other nations! Well Done Connor.

Celtic's Judo Star Connor Leonard was once again in great form in the British Judo Associations East of Midlands Cadet Event.

The final competition before the British National Championships would see the youngster up against the current A-Band Gold, Silver and Bronze medalists. The Iceman dispatched all 3 players plus 2 others in no less than 20 seconds to take another eye catching Gold in style.

With architects Pringle Brandon, we are undergoing the the slab to slab drywall partitions on seven floors. We are also installing feature dwarf walls and possibly undertaking the joinery door package.

The building is part occupied so co-ordination is paramount.

Celtic Contractors are pleased to report that our Judo player Connor Leonard added another Gold to his medal collection after winning all 3 of his fights in the British Judo Associations Kidderminster Open.

One of his finest performances of the year and with the British Nationals in Sheffield looming in December he has peaked at the right time. Not only did he win in style but he became the first player from his club this year to knock his younger brother Josh off the top of the clubs medal table!

We are working with Architects Gensler and Construction Managers Overbury as we help to install 400lm of drywall. The walls need to be built over the next 4 weeks to allow following trades to commence (BPC & Clestra glazing).

Earlier this week Celtic sent Project Manager Scott Tunbridge to Moorgate to help install this recently stripped out building.

Working with MACE and architects Allies & Morrison we are working on Levels 3 to 7 where we are installing a perimeter blind box detail with plasterboard margins and SAS System 130 Modular Grid. We are also installing fire barriers within the void.

Congratulations to Celtics very own Purchasing Manager Paul Cooney who recently completed a sponsored run for the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity which provides emotional and practical support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.

Celtic are pleased to announce that we are setting up on site at Arcadia Group. We will be working alongside ISG and Architects Sheppard Robson.

Our install will consist of a variety of SAS ceilings throughout the 8 floors which consists of Basement, Ground and then Level 1 through to Level 6.
We will also undertake the installation of the GL6 Acoustic Ceilings, the project is to run over a period of 96 weeks which will in turn be managed in phases as the building is occupied.

Celtic Judo Star Josh Leonard had his cast removed yesterday, just over 6 weeks after he suffered a nasty break to his left arm in the Eastern Area Judo Final. X-rays confirmed that both bones had healed well however there was some bad news. The wire inserted into his arm is exposed at the elbow and he will need another operation next week to have this removed. The two metal rods and 4 plates will remain in his arm for a further 4 to 5 months. The young star has a big reputation in the BJA and has received many good luck messages from various rival clubs up and down the country.

Celtic today completed work on Marylebone Street for Comogroup on Project Kirsh.

A CAT-B fit out which spanned 5 floors. Celtic installed SAS System 330 metal ceiling system with M/F plasterboard margins and feature bulkheads. We also installed various dryline and partitioning systems to create cellular office space. Contracts Manager Martin Stripe showcases some installation photos which can be seen on out project page!

Celtic are excited to announce that we have been asked to help remove and replace various new partitioning on Levels 3 & 17 at The London Place building, London Bridge Quarter. Celtic will also being installing EZYJamb doors to our drywall and building new m/f ceilings and various bulkheads.

Working with Comogroup and architects by Adamson Associates the 12 week contract period makes this another big challenge for the Celtic team.

Well done to young Connor who took part in the British Judo Associations Heart of England Championships held at Wolverhampton University on Saturday 7th September.

The youngster was once again up against some very strong National Level Cadets and from a pool of 16, Connor finished a reputable 7th. The top 5 players in his group will all be gone from his category soon due to the age band which should even up the playing field in 2014 for him.

Celtic can confirm that we are undertaking the installation for both ceilings and drywall partitioning at W4 Crown Estates.

MACE and Architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris place their trust in Celtic Contractors to help with some interesting design features. We are currently at the opening stages of the contract.The redevelopment creates new floor plates within the curtilage of this significant and historical site with retained listed façades and early C17th vaults at basement.

Celtic are back at One New Change! This time we are assisting architects Studiofibre and construction managers Overbury with the drywall package for Dealogic. This is our 4th project at One New Change in the last 2 years and our first opportunity to work with architects Studiofibre.

We were appointed on Friday 02.08 and made a start on site Monday 05.08 due to the fast track of the programme. We had a provisional meeting with Optima & Dealerward to agree all details / tolerances due to the coordination and interface that had to be agreed from the off.

On Saturday 17th August Connor and Josh took part in the British Judo Association's Eastern Area Championships held in Thetford.

Josh was once again on fire as he smashed his way into the final eliminating some of the top U38kg players along the way, however he suffered a nasty fall that resulted in a badly broken arm, this has ruled him out for 6 months! Older sibling Connor upset the odds as he took Bronze in the Pre-Cadet section with some of his best fighting this year.

Celtic send our best wishes to Josh and hope for a speedy recovery.

Ray Stripe and Steve Stroulger are almost past the finish line at PwC. The lower floors have certainly provided many challenges and problems for everyone involved on the project, but they all seem a distant memory as we speed on with the project.

With most of the WC Cores finished and AHU's and MER/SERS built we have added a few more photos to show the architects sleek design features to these areas. Well done to all the Celtic team based on this project.

On Saturday 27th July the Celtic Judo Boys headed to Swindon to take part in the BJA West of England Championships, a 3 point ranking event. Attracting the big clubs and the countries top players would make sure this event kept its reputation for being one of the toughest.

Both boys fought well against some formidable opponents many of national level. They both finished 5th each narrowly losing the bronze fight. Josh's fight footage can be seen on the judo page so feel free to watch! Well Done.

On Sunday 21st July our Judo boys took part in the Summer Class Masters event held in Kent. Its a tricky venue due to the undersized contest areas. Kent currently dominate the County Judo Circuit, but Connor and Josh were still in the medals for Sussex.

Josh was asked to fight in the next age and weight group up to provide a sterner challenge and he still took the Gold while Connor sent one of the top Kent players crashing out the event with a huge ippon throw to take Silver.

Celtic Contractors are pleased to annouce that Project Blue - Jardine Lloyd Thompson is near completion. A tricky design with some eye catching features all installed under the guidance of Celtic Site Manager Simon Haylor.

The BJA London International was held at SportsDock at the University of East London. A top level ranking event brought out all the top clubs best players from all over the country to fight in unbearable heat.

Once again both boys performed superbly with Connor taking Bronze in the Pre-Cadet category, where his opponents were 14yrs of age and 95% had the England Squad Rose. Josh finished a creditable 5th only just losing the Bronze fight on Golden Score to the current British Schools Champion.

A quick update from our Embankment Place project on the Southern Vaults Shower and WC conversion. With the blockwork installed and roof on we are now installing the first fix plumbing and electrics.

The raised floor with drainage gulleys including the ramps are all installed along with the showers and toilets. Project Manager Denis Phelan informs us that we still have a few challenges to over come but on the whole progress is very good.

Celtic are pleased to report that last week our young soccer stars were doing what they do best - scoring goals!

Taking part in the prestigious West Drayton Explorers Summer Tournament the Lions found themselves in a five team group. Coach Ray Casey said the boys were fantastic and after a tricky start they soon found their form. The big London club scouts were at the event and showing a keen interest in the youngsters! Well done to the Lions, video footage online now!

On Saturday 29th June the Celtic Judo boys took part in the British Judo Associations Kent International 2013, which welcomes many top clubs from France, Holland, Belgium and Poland. This event is held over 2 days attracting over 1000 entrants, all highly skilled and many of a National level.

In the U15 years of age group both boys fought against the odds and secured themselves another Gold medal at international level.

On Sunday 23rd June the Celtic Judo boys travelled to Eindhoven to take part in the very difficult Sandokan Open Championships.

The event is a Green belt minimum entry set by the Dutch and Under 16years of age. Neither Connor or Josh are Green Belt, but that didn't stop them giving the boys across the water a tough time. Both boys came home with Bronze in a competition where a medal was not expected.

On Sunday May 9th The Totteridge Lions took part in the Parkfield Youth FC Summer Tournament. The competition has a reputation for its difficulty but the team, who have no fear, overcame the odds to win the event in style!

The youngsters played 4 matches and won all 4 scoring a whopping 25 goals and conceeding 0!

Ray Casey of the Lions has allowed us to air a video clip which shows the team in action and is well worth a watch! Well done the Lions!

Celtic have just installed the RAL 7024 aluminium SAS 4000 System / 8000 System with SAS oak door & glass fin mock up at KCL.

This project isset to be a very fast track project (Start date 20.05.13 and finish date 30.08.13) with door sets and drywall being installed on Levels 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 and 7.

On Saturday 1st June Josh Leonard headed to Belgium to take part in the International Judo Grand Prix event 'Bois du Cazier' held in Marcinelle. A tough event with over 800 participants from 60 clubs and over 9 countries including Belgium, France, Luxemburg, Italy, England, Germany, Holland, Russia and Ireland.

The Joker turned on the style as he silenced a hostile home crowd and secured the Gold in style!

Great progress is being made on our challenging project at Embankment Place. The Southern Vaults conversion which has been pushed forward by our site team has started to take shape.

The blockwork construction has been erected with the roof recently finished. We are currently lining the walls and looking at the plumbing and electrical first fix installation taking place very soon.

On Sunday 26th May Connor and Josh headed to High Wycombe to take part in the Judo Club 61 Open Challenge. A tough event with all the big clubs taking part in High Wycombe's purpose built dojo.

Both boys were in the U15yrs-of-age category where Josh performed out of his skin to take Silver. Connor would only have 2 fights however one would be against a tough opponent from Pinewood who he eventually threw to take Gold.

On Wednesday 15th May Celtic Contractors FC took part in the London Soccer Dome organised by Bradley Pohl & Overbury on behalf of WC 1EP project.

Celtic put in some fine performances and could easily have won the competition but mistakes are costly and Whyte's Red Card was certainly that!

The players now know what its like to be on the end of a "Giant Killing" and will need to work hard to put things right in the next tournament!

On Saturday May 11th, Connor and Josh helped out at the London British Open 2013. The boys were responsible for helping with the medal presentations aswell as holding the national flags of the event winners. A great day, many memories and plenty of autographs.

Recent updates would see Connor take bronze at the British Judo Associations Inter-Counties against Surrey, Hampshire and Kent. The current county champion gave a stern performance as he helped Sussex to a hard earnt podium place.

On Friday 12th April our Judo boys travelled to Lommel, Belgium to take part in the 'De Soeverein Cup'. One of the biggest events in Belgium, it was held over two days with over 1400 entrants taking part.

Featuring players from Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Holland, Germany and Switzerland the boys held their own with some superb performances against international squad players. Josh lost the final to Holland by a point while Connor finished 6th in the U15 years.

We have been awarded the Dryline Wall package and look set to start on site on April 15th.

Another conversion challenge rests upon the shoulders of Celtic! A project to get our teeth into as we look to convert the Southern Vaults area into a modern looking toilet and shower block.

With the succcessful conversion of the catering area, we are already moving in the right direction providing CAD drawings for blockwork and internal design layouts to help push this project forward.

Celtic have made excellent progress during the basment shower project. When we first surveyed the area we found a space that was dull and dirty. After several CAD proposals we finally had the green light to go.

PJ and Ray overcame many design problems with the plumming and electrics to turn this once neglected space in to something the client can use. We have plenty of before and after photos on the site now so please feel free to have a look.

On Sunday 7th April Connor and Josh Leonard took part in the British Judo Association’s Sussex Area Squad Trials held at Worthing Leisure Centre. An event which is extremely tough due to the groups being weight banded and could see a 9yr old fight a 15yr old.

Connor overcame the odds and defeated the current holder from Hastings who is 3 years his senior to take the Gold. Meanwhile Josh won 3 of his 5 contests to secure a deserved 3rd place bronze!

On Saturday April 6th, Celtic headed for the fairways to take part in the Eagles Golf Society event in Kent.

Represented by previous competition winner Tom Fortune as seen here and fellow colleagues Gareth Fletcher, Paul Cooney and Jon Whyte, it was time to see if we could keep up the winning run. No bets on who finished last!

On Sunday March 24th, Connor & Josh took part in the BJA Class Masters Inter club challenge at Tunbridge Wells.

Featuring some very competitive clubs from Kent, East and West Sussex & with over 400 entrants, the boys silenced some very aggressive mat side supporters in style! An event with some strong players was used as good preparation for the up and coming Sussex County Squad trials in April.

We have installed SAS 330 System ceilings with plasterboard margins incorporating a blind box detail to the perimeter glazing, plasterboard margins in the Lift lobby’s and a Bespoke MDF panel ceiling with interfaces to the external and internal glazing in In the main reception.

All the above works was achieved by working closely and in detail with Lend Lease, RSHP, ARUP.

On Sunday March 17th, Connor & Josh took part in the BJA Southern Area Open Championships, K2 Crawley.

One of the toughest venues on the circuit, both boys performed superb as Connor won a hard fought Bronze while younger brother Josh had to settle for 5th after a very close battle with a player coached by Samantha Dobrowolski the 2012 Commonwealth Masters champion and the reigning British Masters champion.

Celtic boys Aaron and Jimmy braved the cold weather to take part in the ISG charity fund raiser for CLIC Sargent children with cancer.

The challenge was to abseil down Battersea Power Station and despite the bite from the freezing wind Aaron would be the only one to remove his bobble hat and leave Jimmy looking ridiculous on his own!

On Saturday 23rd February Celtic with Comogroup took part in the Eagles Golf Society event at Farleigh Golf Club in Surrey.

Jon Whyte, Tom Fortune, Gareth Fletcher, Paul Cooney and Shams played the greens for Team Celtic and with a total of 17 entrants taking part it turned out to be a good day for Celtic.

On Sunday 10th March Celtic will be represented by Aaron Broqaj who will be assisted by Celtic stuntman Jimmy Thercaj as they decend Battersea Power Station all in the name of charity!

'CLIC Sargent for children with cancer' is the chosen charity by Construction Managers ISG at the Jardine Lloyd Thompson project. Celtic have so far have raised £300 and hope to have some photos of the event online soon.

On Saturday 2nd March, our judo players made the 4 hour journey to Kidderminster to take part in the area banded Area Open Event.

Josh was once again in destructive mode, all his fights done and dusted in 10 seconds or less leaving his opponents & spectactors shell shocked. Older sibling Connor was just as impressive as he secured Gold in style with some big throws to silence a rowdy audience.

Celtic are pleased to offer sponsorship to Totteridge Lions. Why not take a look for yourself and see how the squad gets on.

The academy is dedicated to providing high quality football coaching and training to local youngsters. They currently have more than 600 students aged 4-14 years attending coaching sessions each week at the five academies based in London, Essex, Hertfordshire and Middlesex.  They also run toddler squads and have more than 50 teams operating in local leagues.

We started 01.02.13 (without a formal order) to be pro-active and get a head start on the project which has a 1million value of drywall with a very high acoustic rating to be built in just 10-12 weeks. PC is 31.05.13

Working with two architects Pringle Brandon and IDEA, whom specialise in studios/high level audio acoustic this is another challenge for the team.

Saturday February 2nd Connor took part in the incrediby tough British Judo Association Ranking Event at Walsall University. Only just making the event due to his young age, The Iceman was up against Great Britains youth number 1, 2 and 3 ranked players including opponents from Poland, Russia Scotland and of course the UK.

All his opponents were 15yrs of age making his 6th place finished an impressive result

On Sunday 28th January Connor and Josh took part in the BJA Sussex Open. Each had to deal with being the youngest and lowest grades in their groups but came away with a Bronze.

Josh won 5 out of 6 contests from a pool of 26 whilst Connor had to deal with Team Midlands Russian Army and a hostile crowd.

A project that has been a real challenge for the Celtic Team. From the start Celtic have been working non stop to deliver this project on time and its nice to be able to say that a building which has the WOW Factor also has an interior to match.

From London Bridge Station, when I could I took a photo of the building in various weather conditions. Olympic sunshine to January snow! Its a shame this one has ended for us.

We are pleased to announce Celtic have made great progress at The Shard. A complicated project with various interlinked ceiling bays with bespoke raking panels have all come together impressively after some complicated design work from our CAD Department and design input from the Project Management Team. Some progress images from site have been uploaded.

After a long journey to Meeuwen-Gruitrode it was great to come away with a medal. On Saturday Connor had a tough International in the U15's. We found out on the day his grade was to low to enter. After some negotiations he was allowed to enter and missed the Bronze on a judges decision. On the Sunday Josh destroyed his opponents in the U12's and secured the Gold with a 6 second Ippon over Deutschland.

The Leonard boys shine in Tunbridge Wells to finish the competition year off on a high. Josh secured Gold after winning all his contests, each not lasting more than 10 seconds! Connor secured Silver with the satisfaction of beating the group favourite in demolishing style!

280 High Holborn was a CAT A Project with a fit out to the Reception and the WCs – Celtic worked closely with MEP (Mace’s M&E Managers) to ensure the integration of services into the SAS Ceilings worked prior to manufacturing.

The project was always going to be challenging due to the short programme and the noise retractions.   We worked well with Como and other specialist trades to make sure the project was delivered on time and with a high quality finish.

Logistically the project was difficult, site was located in a narrow busy street but deliveries were well planed and managed to minimize congestion in the area.

On this Project we promoted one of our Supervisors into a Management role which we as a company thought he would be suited to this fast and demanding (logistically) Job. We had 2 other Managers working close with him to ensure everything was being done correctly and he proved to be a success and worked well with Como.
